Belleview Avenue & I-25 Environmental Assessment

COMING SOON!

The Belleview Avenue and I-25 Environmental Assessment project is at the beginning stages. Wilson & Company has been contracted to provide professional engineering consulting services for the duration of the study.

Check back soon for more updates. When the project begins, there will be several ways to provide input in developing the solution for this interchange. In the meantime, feel free to leave your feedback about the existing interchange below!

All documents on the right-hand side of the page are from the 2016 Belleview Avenue Corridor Study. For more documents and more information regarding the 2016 study, please visit the Arapahoe County project page.

Project Description

Belleview Avenue, between Monaco Street and DTC Boulevard, currently experiences a high level of congestion. As the South I-25 Corridor continues to develop, it is important to plan for future improvements that will provide reliable and safe mobility for the public while minimizing negative impacts on the surroundings.

The Belleview Avenue Corridor Environmental Assessment (EA) will study several possible improvements for the interchange while determining whether or not significant environmental impacts are expected. The EA will expand upon the efforts recently completed as part of the Belleview Avenue Corridor Study, which was completed in 2016. This previous study identified several alternatives for reconstruction, and ultimately chose one as the 'recommended alternative'. The EA will re-evaluate all alternatives that were previously studied and will also evaluate potential new alternatives. The EA will identify a preferred alternative for the interchange and will allow for the project partners (CDOT, SPIMD, City of Greenwood Village, Arapahoe County, and the City and County of Denver) to plan for design and construction.
