Consultation has concluded

The City of Greenwood Village is replacing the port-a-let at the High Line Canal Trailhead with a plumbed restroom that would be built in the same location. A Public Meeting was held at City Hall on November 15, 2018.

Restrooms will have electronic locks that will allow for them to be locked from dust to dawn. This project is being funded 50% by Village Funds and 50% by a grant from Arapahoe County Open Space Funds.

Construction commenced in June for new restroom facilities at Castlewood Park and the High Line Canal Trailhead. These plumbed restrooms, which will replace the existing portable toilets at both locations, will also include water fountains and water bottle filling stations. Construction is anticipated to be completed in September 2019.

Please note that during construction, parking at Castlewood Park and the High Line Canal Trailhead may be limited or unavailable. To allow for utility connections, a short closure of Orchard Drive between Holly Street and Ivanhoe Street will be necessary.
