You are invited to a public information meeting, to review the design for proposed improvements to the Greenwood Gulch Undercrossing at Orchard Road, on Wednesday, August 19th from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Palos Verdes Park in Centennial (6400 E. Orchard Road).
The project is a joint venture with the City of Greenwood Village, City of Centennial, and South Suburban Parks and Recreation with additional grant funding provided by Arapahoe County Open Spaces. The main goals of the project are to increase trail user head clearance under the bridge and provide additional channel capacity to minimize trail maintenance during flooding events. Other improvements will include new lighting under the bridge, new concrete trail, and new railing between the trail and channel.
Additionally, you can view images of the proposed improvements here on the Village Voices website and provide comments. Construction is planned to commence in late fall 2020 with completion in winter 2021.
