2020-2024 Capital Improvement Program

The Capital Improvement Program (CIP) provides for the development and maintenance of public infrastructure through a five year plan that is updated annually. The program includes:

* Streets and Transportation

* Drainage

* Parks, Trails, and Open Space

* Public Facilities

The 2020-2024 Capital Improvement Program will be developed according to the following schedule in 2019:

April-May: CIP development begins by staff with City Council, citizens, and department input.

June: City Council conducts a Public Hearing for citizens to provide comments and suggestions to be considered in development of CIP.

July: Presentation of the draft CIP to the City Council.

August: City Council Study Session to discuss the proposed 2020-2024 CIP.

October: City Council Public Hearing and First Reading of the 2020 Proposed Budget, including the CIP.

Citizen input is an important first step in creating the annual update to the CIP. Do you have a suggestion for an improvement to your neighborhood? Or, maybe you have a project you would like to see completed to another area within Greenwood Village? If so, we’d like to hear about it! Please share your ideas with us by May 31. Your input will help us make Greenwood Village an even better place to live, work, and visit.
